Steve Carlton was elected into the Hall in 1994 by the BaseBall Writer's Assoc. of America, 1st ballot, (95.8%) as a Philadelphia Philly. His playing career was from 1965 to 1988. "Lefty" was a 10 time All Star, 2 time World Champion, 4 time NL Cy Young winner, a Gold Glove winner and a member of both the 300 Win Club & the 3000K Club. With his hard throwing fastball, looping curve & wicked slider, Steve is considered one of the greatest lefties of all time. He finished his career with 329 wins and 4,136 strikeouts.
