1969 Topps # 260 Reggie Jackson
PSA 7 NM
Reggie Jackson was elected into the Hall in 1993 by the BaseBall Writer's Assoc. of America, 1st ballot, (93.6%) as a New York Yankee. "Mr. October's" playing career was from 1967 to 1987. He was a 14 time All Star, 5 time World Series champion, 1973 AL MVP, 2 time WS MVP, 4 time AL HR champ & hit 563 career homeruns. As one of the great clutch hitters of out time, Reggie also excelled in World Series play, earning him the nickname, Mr October. His 3 consecutive homeruns against the Dodgers in the 1977 series is a feat that I will never forget. All well, above is his 1969 Topps rookie card in near mint condition & absolutely perfectly centered, a feat as rare as his October homeruns. The card has a population of 892 with 506 better.
