1989 Upper Deck # 25 Randy Johnson
PSA 10 GEM MT
Randy Johnson was elected into the Hall in 2015 by the Baseball Writer's Assoc. of America, 1st ballot, (97.3%) as a Arizona Diamondback. Randy's playing career was from 1988 to 2009. "The Big Unit" was a 10 time All Star, 5 time Cy Young winner, 2001 World Champion, a member of both the 3000 K club and the 300 win club to go a long with his 2 no hitters, 1 being a perfect game. Just looking at Randy's stats, he will go down as one of the games best left handed pitchers of all time. But that hardly defines his intimidating command he possessed on the mound against left handers. A 102 mph fastball coming from the side & being known as just a little wild would add to the fear factor. Above is his 1989 Upper Deck rookie card, PSA graded a perfect Gem Mint 10. MM-08/12/2012
