Kirby Puckett was elected into the Hall in 2001 by the BaseBall Writer's Assoc. of America, 1st ballot, (82.14%) as a Minnesota Twin. Kirby's playing career was from 1984 to 1995, all with the Twins. Kirby was a 10 time All Star, 2 time World Series Champion and 6 time Gold Glover in his short 11 year career. He was the force of many good Twin teams until his career was shortened by glaucoma.
