1989 Upper Deck # 1 Ken Griffey Jr.
PSA 9 MINT
Ken Griffey Jr. was elected into the Hall in 2016 by the Baseball Writer's Assoc. of America, 1st ballot, (99.3%) as a Seattle Mariner. His playing career was from 1989 to 2010. "Junior" or "The Kid" was a 13 time All Star, 10 time gold glover, 1997 AL MVP and finished his career with 630 HR's, 2,781 hits, 1,836 RBI's & a .284 lifetime batting average. He was a spectacular outfielder & would often crash into walls catching line drives, even to a point of being injured quite often. A few less injuries & he would certainly have been the all time HR leader. A very popular player, Junior holds the record for most votes to make the HOF, breaking Tom Seaver's record of 98.84%. Above is his main RC produced by Upper Deck which they honored Ken with the number 1 card in their new set. Population of 21671 with 3250 higher. MM-04/23/2017
