Joe Morgan was elected to the Hall in 1990 by the Baseball Writer's Assoc. of America, 1st ballot, (81.8%) as a Cincinnati Red. His playing career was from 1963 to 1984. Joe was a 10 time All Star, 2 time NL MVP, 2 time world champion & stole 689 bases in his career. Joe was known as a complete player as he had some punch for a 2nd baseman, an excellent fielder (5 golden gloves) & could hit in the clutch. He was certainly a major part of the Big Red Machine.
