Jim Palmer was elected to the Hall in 1990 by the BaseBall Writer's Assoc. of America, 1st ballot, (92.57%) as a Baltimore Oriole. His playing career was from 1965 to 1984. Jim's entire career was with the Orioles as he collected 3 World Series rings, 3 Cy Youngs, 4 Gold Gloves, 6 times an all star, 1 no hitter & a lifetime era of 2.86. I remember Jim pitching at a high level for a long period of time & beating my Dodgers in the 1966 World Series.
