Eddie Murray was elected into the Hall in 2003 by the Baseball Writer's Assoc. of America, 1st ballot, (85.3%) as a Baltimore Oriole. Ed's playing career was from 1977 to 1997. He was an 8 time All Star, 1977 ROY, 1983 World Champion, 3 time Gold Glover and a member of both the 3000 hit club & the 500 HR club. Eddie was one of the games greatest switch hitters, along with Mickey Mantle. Near the end of his career, he had 3 solid seasons with the Dodgers.
